Epstein & Weil is a small firm emphasizing criminal and commercial litigation, in federal and state courts. The partners, Lloyd Epstein and Judith H. Weil, bring a wide range of experience to their work.

Lloyd Epstein has been practicing criminal law for nearly 20 years. He received his law degree from New York University and his B.A. from Williams College. Mr. Epstein has taught criminal law, criminal procedure and trial advocacy at New York Law School and at the City University of New York Law School at Queens College.

Judith Weil has concentrated her practice on litigation and on counseling businesses to avoid litigation since graduating with Order of the Coif honors from New York University Law School in 1980. She is also a magna cum laude graduate of Williams College. Before joining Mr. Epstein in 1986, Ms. Weil honed her skills in the New York City offices of Nixon, Hargrave, Devans & Doyle and Richards & O'Neil.
